VA Loans

BayFirst proudly serves our nation’s Veterans, helping to finance homes for the brave and their families since 1993. Are you a veteran, current military member or surviving spouse looking to make a move? A VA loan could be right for you.

VA loans are backed by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and are part of a government loan program that offers qualifying veterans, service members and surviving spouses low-cost mortgages for purchasing a home or refinancing.

VA loans offer many advantages over conventional loans, including:

  • Low or no down payment options
  • Low interest rates and credit requirements
  • No monthly mortgage insurance required
