PPP Loan From BayFirst Helps Local Business

October 28, 2020

BayFirst is proud to be able to support local small businesses through recent tough times with Paycheck Protection Program loans. Equitus Corporation, a veteran-owned big data analytics company in Clearwater, was able to not only retain 26 employees, but also hire an additional 14 personnel during the pandemic thanks to a PPP loan through BayFirst. Jovita Carranza, the Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration, visited Equitus last week to meet with the business and get a tour of the office. We are happy to see the impact our work has made on the businesses and people around us. Pictured below are members of BayFirst’s management team meeting with Equitus employees and Jovita Carranza.
